Oh Paris! How do you even begin to decribe how lovely and classic and exciting it is here? The Eiffel Tower took my breath away. It is a truly remarkable structure and it is amazing in person. |
|  | The Beautiful Outdoors My favorite parts of Paris were the outdoor parks and gorgeous bridges over the Seine River. It is so nice to relax in the grass and people watch, especially after a long day of sightseeing. Paris is a very outdoor city, in the sense that there are always lots of people relaxing, reading, picnicking or visiting outside. It makes you feel like you are a part of the beautiful energy. |
Vibrant Energy and Friendly People I kept in the back of my mind all the times that I heard it said that French people are rude. Well, it belongs in the back of the mind and it should just stay there - I met very warm, wonderful, courteous and helpful people. It's amazing what a smile and an attempt at speaking the language and appreciating the culture on your part can do! | | |

Hello Dena, you could come back to Paris: smoking inside is strictly prohibited now (public area's, restaurants,...) I think you're right: just a small effort with few French word is well appreciated, even if you're wrong :) |
