This adorable boutique hotel is decorated in bright, vibrant colors. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was wonderful (giant muffins and delicious coffee, served with the TV showing--what else?--the Breakfast Club).
Each room is named after a movie set in San Francisco--but unfortunately, there are some duds. We stayed in "The Net". Still, it was a great room--on a corner that looked over beautiful buildings. Lots of windows and a lovely breeze.
I was thrilled that everyone else staying in the hotel seemed to be European. There wasn't a touristy feeling at all.
Unique Qualities: Like I said, it's great for people who love movies. They have deals that involve movie passes and they screen San Francisco-set movies every night in their "Petite Theatre Bijou".
We had an amazing deal while we were there: $129/night with the third night free. Wow! So check their website for deals!!
Remember--it's only 2 blocks from Union Square. GREAT location.
