I am just starting my journeys throughout the world. A fantastic trip to Paris last summer convinced me that it's not all that hard or scary or expensive to travel. I have now officially caught the bug! My upcoming journeys will include Iowa, Kaua'i, Minneapolis, and Santa Cruz, CA. That's just the next 6 months!

Living in LA

I live in Los Angeles, downtown specifically, and I plan to continue adding information about downtown LA to my travel page. Many travelers miss my part of the city and thus miss out on much of LA's culture and history (yes, we have history).

Lots of people have told me I should be leading tours of downtown, and everyone knows to come to me when they're thinking about moving there.

I just really, really love where I live, and I'm so excited to share it with you. A great resource if you are "loft-curious" is www.downtownla.com, where you can sign up for a free bi-monthly Saturday walking tour of the area. You'll learn a lot and it just may change your perceptions of Downtown LA.
