Auckland: City of Sails

City of Sails
No doubt warranting the name. Even the city airport has the "Sail" theme in it. The view you see when your plane is coming in for landing is simply remarkable. The greenery and serenity is truly as the travel books described. Even the air you breathe is crisper and cleaner than usual. The weather is not too warm nor too cold at autumn. You can just wonder around Auckland in just a light jacket and pants and have no fear of veing too cold. The sun however is pretty glaring even during autumn. Remember to bring your sunblock if you tan easily in intense sunlight. You really go into a holiday mood that moment you clear customs and head out towards New Zealand. Auckland is really a good place to be introduced into New Zealand. Easy to navigate and friendly services for the tourists.

A Very Cosmopolitan City

Auckland seems to attract tourists from all over the world. Taking a stroll along the streets of Auckland and you will be amazed at the melting pot of people Auckland has managed to achieve. You can see Japanese executives talking business side by side with an african american or you can see a chinese elderly sharing a morning stroll with a fellow kiwi elder. No doubt Auckland is a very tolerating city. The sight of Auckland is simple unbound. A city that managed to spawn from the location of 3 extinct volcanoes. Yet, it also managed to maintain the distinct Sky City skyline with its ever growing population. Climb onto 1 of the 3 mounts in Auckland and you will see Auckland stretch for miles in either directions. Take time off to admire the remarkable skyline that Auckland have come to had.
