Getting TO/AROUND: The reason you want to stay in the center of the strip is not only for saving miles on your feet, but also saving money on the cab fares. The cabs here are cheap, but they can add up over the week, especially if you stay far out at the Stratosphere or even further out at the Rio or the Palms. You do have the option for very cheap limo rental if you are out on the town, but I cabbed it to Rio and the Palms, very cheap compared to NYC cab fares. A cab ride to the airport will cost you about $15 or so, so you might want to arrange a shuttle for that trip, but beware the shuttles amke alot of stops so leave with plenty of time to spare.

Getting TO/AROUND: There are quite a few places on the strip for you to rent a semi-exotic sports car for your stay if you feel like driving around the town. By semi-exotic I mean lower grade (yet still very expensive) cars such as older Ferraris, Dodge Vipers, Corvettes, Porsches, and even Hummers. I'm not sure of the cost, but if you have money to blow and plan on being your groups DD, rent a car and show up to the valet in style. Just remember though, in Vegas, as opposed to LA and NY and Miami, its not what type of car you pull up to the hotel in, its what you bring to the TABLE that matters here.

Getting TO/AROUND: Vegas deals are easy to come by if you are patient. Look on this website, I have seen tons of deal posting for cheap flights, some packaged with a hotel stay even. The casinos make their money by you coming there, so as long as the get you there, you can even comp your flight if you are a regular player. Just check into everything before you pay a 100% cost ticket. There is one thing almost gauranteed about the early flight back from Vegas though: everyone will be hungover or asleep the entire way, especially those long East Coast flights!
