The blood that flows through this city is that of the American dollar... the currency spent on numerous trips to the slot machines, the craps and blackjack tables, the roulette wheels, and those high limit poker tables. My personal vice is that of the sports book. Whatever your gambling poison in this town just remember to keep in fun, it is not meant for financial gain, and certainly, if you can't afford to gamble the money, don't. Stay within your means, don't go max bet everytime if you can't afford it, and only sit at tables with minimums you can afford. Also, know the rules of games before you put chips down at them, and, the most importnat rule- quit when you're ahead. Don't press your luck too far. This town has far too many great shows, clubs, and restaurants to waste all of your time and money at a table.

The Fountains at Bellagio are one of the most soothing and awe inspiring spectacles in Las Vegas. They are powered by a high tech water pressure system under the small lake in front of the Bellagio Hotel. The pressure system rotates and sprays in different pre-programmed elements so that they appear to the eye as a fluid orchestra. I'm not sure of their year-round times, but the weeks I was in Vegas (Oct. 1-19), they started at 7PM and there was a performance every 15 minutes until midnight. The Fountains are choreographed to "dance" to a music selection, the music can be from varying sources, I heard country, techno and classical, so expect a variety of music. The Fountains can be seen well from Paris across the street, as well as in one of the suites at Bellagio with a strip view. the best view, however, comes from being on the West Side of Las Vegas Blvd., under the trees, with your eyes on the water.

Things To Do: The Ferrari Maserati Showcase at the Wynn

This place is a very decent showroom of exotic Ferraris and Maseratis... the cars are dealt through the Roger Penske group and can be viewed for free if you stay at the Wynn, I think there is a $20 fee if you don't stay there... yes, the rich get richer, even if you just want to SEE the cars... I don't know if they allow cameras or not, I didn't take mine out, sometimes these places are funny about taking pictures.

Weddings: Tie the Knot in Vegas

A Las Vegas wedding is still a very popularway to become man and wife in this country. Every Casino has a chapel, and there are also some chapels located along Las Vegas Blvd. Be like Britney- go crazy and tie the knot in Vegas! Call your desired casino and they will arrange everything for you, but the nicer the hotel, the larger the bill will be... so be ready for an expensive ordeal if you get married in a popular casino.... the ones on the street are much cheaper.

Caesars Palace was one of my favorite spots, if you stay here it seems you have the world at your fingertips.... the clubs, the shopping, the gambling, the shows, the service... all in one gigantic property.... Ilove the sky ceilings in the shopping area and the grandeur of it all. Nicely done Caesars!

Check this place out if you get a chance. Great wax replications of celebrities. The hotel staff are there to take a picture of you with the wax figures if you like.

The Cirque Du Soliel is one of the most awesome shows in Vegas, well worth the money, and a different variation seems to be showing at different hotels.... be careful though, there are off (dark) days in the schedule, as I wanted to go check it out again and the doors were closed on a Tuesday at the Bellagio

On my last couple days in Vegas... my picture taking days of what I had done during my stay, one thing I wanted to get a shot of was the "Welcome to Vegas " sign... I'll tell you, I walked for what seemed like forever, to the Southern end of the strip, actually close to the airport, to find this sign. I'm sure its very cool seeing this sign everytime you drive in, as I think most people in the weekend crowds see this sign coming in from the south, as everyone I met on the weekends seemed to be from L.A. Anyways, I got my sign shot, and I needed a foot massage upon my return.
