"Daytona Beach" Daytona Beach by HotSpotJ

Recently went to some races in Daytona Beach. I did not stay long, after only the initial entry races to the Daytona 500 I was fed up with the traffic, crowds, rednecks and smell of Budweiser. The track is awesome, the races are awesome, but my advice is to get a seat in one of the frontstretch towers if you want to enjoy the race.

Daytona International Speedway

This racetrack is awesome, the layout and granduer of it will impress you just as much as the history of it as displayed throughout the track and in Daytona USA, an interactive museum of its history. During the Daytona 500 Speedweeks, there are alot of fun event scheduled around this track.

Turn 4

I would advise this to be a one time experience unless you have seats that take you out of redneck central. I grew up in Virginia, went to plenty of races in VA and North Carolina, but WOW, the few that ruin others good times are plenty down here in Daytona. The track, drivers, and races are awesome, but a majority of the race fans are not my cup of tea.
