Pinks Hot Dog Stand: Longer Line than A-List Clubs

Restaurant Name: Pinks Hot Dog Stand
Pinks is one of the best Hot Dogs in LA, right up there with Tommy's. Pinks is definately the most famous dog stand in SoCal, perhaps in America. There will be at least a 30 minutes wait at all times, sometimes up to an hour on busier days. The line actually wraps around the building and through the rear lot.
Favorite Dish: Eat Pinks to say you did it, especially after a long night clubbing for that great, greasy dog! If you drive down LaBrea and ever see a short wait, you should stop in and enjoy your lucky find! The dogs are THAT awesome!

In-n-Out Burger: THE Burger to end all burgers

Restaurant Name: In-n-Out Burger
In-N-Out is something that Californians have taken for granted far too long. I cannot wait for this great place to dominate the world so that I might order my burger "Animal Style" wherever I may go. In-N-Outs are located all over California, mostly concentrated in the L.A. / Ventura area. They have a very basic menu with an underground jargon for customizations- my favorite was Animal Style (double sauce and sloppy as hell. You can't just ask for extra-this or without-that, you should know the jargon or you get it as-is. Expect long lines but very quick service, and the most natural fries you ever tasted (they slice the potatos right in front of you!) If you've never had it, believe me, its one of the best fast food tastes I've ever had.
Favorite Dish: #1 (Double) Animal Style with a Root Beer

Titos Tacos: The Landmark Taco Stand

Restaurant Name: Titos Tacos
Titos is actually in Culver City, but I'm putting this in my Los Angeles Tips. Titos Tacos is a somewhat historic Taco stand in Culver City just east, and almost under, the 405 near the Washington Blvd exit. Titos is a cash only establishment with meaty burritos and fabulous tacos. Each Taco order comes with homemade chips and salsa that always taste great. My order is usually 2 Tacos with cheese and an orange soda. As this is a famous place, much like Pinks Hot Dogs, you'll usually see a huge line outside- and its always good to check inside, as they have a register there as well. Go Titos Tacos, and if you see my boy Dereck Counter there, tell him I said whats up DC!
Favorite Dish: 2 Tacos w/ cheese, please
