On my first visit to Hollywood, I discovered it is more a state of mind than a physical, visible place of existance. Hollywood is full of people that are 2 steps from their dream, and one step from being evicted from their overpriced apartment. And through the years- the success stories, the lore of the entertainment industry- all have lured in tourists from abroad who want to get a taste of tinseltown. There are quite a few cool things to do here- amazing nightlife, great shopping, red carpet events galore. Though the facade doesn't do Hollywood justice, there are some very worthwhile things entagled in this state of mind.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Great shopping, nightlife, awesome street activites
  • Cons:Dirty, and they need to make the rap CD peddlers go away.
  • In a nutshell:Hollywood- A beautiful, jaded state of mind
