I have been here twice and have loved both visits. On this Island you have the options of basking in the glory of one of man's greatest accomadating creations in Paradise Islands Atlantis, or you can take in a more natural sense of this beautiful island and its local by going to the island shops and taking a trip to the other side of the island for a ferry ride to one of the beautiful surrounding islands. |
| | Paradise Island To a recreationalist, this place is one of mans greatest creations, and if you are a naturalist, one of the worst. This place is gorgeous to me, as it offers a great beach with a relaxing atmosphere, and the hotel Atlantis, while expensive, is a Vegas-like wonder. |
| | Downtown Nassau and the rest of the island Downtown Nassau is a bustling, full of locals trying to make money and full of tourists trying to spend it. Due to the amount of cruise stops here the daytime is very busy with tourists trying to get there island shopping in before their ship leaves, but there are some very cool things here if you look hard enough. On the other sides of the island there are a number of things to see and do as well, so don't stop at Atlantis! |
