... is a must see activity, because with high probability your plane will arrive here. The city was an exciting home to me during my stay but is not really a place where tourists with limited time may want to spend more than just a couple of days, unless you want to have some good nightlife.

What is really nice about the city, though, are it's surroundings, where you can quickly escape from the big city hassle. Just outside the city borders nature already is fantastic! On clear days you already have a fantastic panorama in the city if you find the gap between all the tall buildings to find the mountain ranges. On bad days Santiago looks like you see on the picture - smoggy! That is escpecially in winter months the case.
