San Siro feeling 20 mins after the game - San Siro

I always wanted...

... to get a live impresson of this wonderful opera of football

... to realize a boyhood dream

You know what? I did it. Do you know these decisions where you just switch off your brains, don't care about any cons and just want, want, want to realize the thing that's stuck in your head. That was it. Actually the flights were too expensive, no friends except one wanted to join and actually my job did not allow at all to stay away. So I almost begged my boss until he could not say no any more.

So my friend Christoph and I took the car and drove down and up the 2.000 km with just using 2 days of holidays. Lost the Champions League game 2-0 (our opponent was not Inter Milano but the referee) but did not care - just enjoyed!!

The night and next morning we spent in Como, I'll put some pics too, as this is a really wonderful place, too. Thanks to VTers Kaz and d_d for the support before the trip!

Unless you have an adequate lens you will run a way quite far from the stadium to fit it all in the picture. It is huge!... more travel advice

I've always wanted to attend a live football game in Europe. I saw the stadium's in Munich and in Barcelona and both are enormous. Can't wait to see my first match some day!
