This city is a living legend, and you really feel the legendary around every street corner you cross. If you just walk the streets planlessly you will get your real Havana experience already. People will come up to you and ask you if they can help you or sell you cigars, girls, a room or a dinner. People in Havana are used to strangers and in this city you don?t really feel like in a locked up country. It?s a beautiful city with beautiful yet morbid buildings, that give it its special charme. Check the main sites like Capitolio, Malecon, Plaza de Armas etc. but don?t forget to stroll the different parts of the city by foot to catch the variety of atmospheres in this place. |
