...Plitvicka Jezera, Primosten e ora Dubrovnik...Dubrovnik = LIBERTAS, come il motto della città che ha resistito a Venezia ed è riuscita a rimanere indipendente a lungo...
Ah...Dubrovnik....
Dopo un viaggio durato 6 ore da Primosten a qui, attraversando un paesaggio mozzafiato, eccoci arrivati a Dubrovnik...Siamo stati fortunati e abbiamo trovato l'ultima casa disponibile all'ufficio turistico.
E' una casa da 7 posti, ma vista la situazione ci siamo adattati a dormirci in 9...Da fuori sembra squallida anche perchè porta ancora i segni di una guerra troppo recente per passare già inosservata, ma dentro è bellissima soprattutto la camera al piano superiore tutta in legno con il muro perlinato e un balconcino che dà sul mare...
Alle pareti ci sono un sacco di disegni e acquarelli di una ragazza e ci sono ancora i suoi libri di scuola sugli scaffali...aveva anche dei bei gusti musicali visto che abbiamo trovato alcune cassette dei Clash...Mi chiedo se chi ci abitava sia ancora vivo visto che qui intorno i segni della guerra sono ancora ben visibili e accanto alla casa c'è un'ex discoteca completamente distrutta dalle bombe.
Di sera si alza un vento fortissimo ma caldo, sembra di avere un fohn puntato in faccia...
Appena entrati in città nello Stradun ho pensato che la guida turistica che avevo in mano aveva proprio ragione: "Dubrovnik, una città di pietra e luce"...
Già, pietra e luce...
Terra e fuoco.
E attorno mare e cielo.
Acqua e vento.
Il vento si intrufola nelle viuzze strette e raccoglie il calore accumulato dalle pietre durante il giorno.
Le mura, le case, le chiese e le strade emanano calore e mi fan venire voglia di toccarle per sentire tutti i ricordi e le storie che raccontano:
le vittorie e le sconfitte, la guerra e i bombardamenti e infine la pace e il silenzio...
