Attractive mountains without funiculars

It is almost a miracle that there are no funiculars or skilifts in the Silvretta mountains (except at the corners where the Silvretta is bordering other mountain groups). In the Silvretta meet the Austrian Tirol and Vorarlberg and the Swiss Grischun (Graubünden).
