I had hesitated going to Paris with a 3-year old toddler. I've heard of its children-unfriendly reputation and the summer a year ago was HOT and the heatwave sent many visitors reeling.
The city is crowded and has many pickpockets, they said. You'll bust your budget on kids menu and your kid will hate the queues and crowds.
Plus, I cannot help but wonder: what does the city of romance has to offer for children? |
| | Making the right choices But glad I am that we did! Contrary to popular beliefs Paris is children-friendly.
And this erratic August that was more Autumn than Summer also meant the kid could spent longer time lingering in the parks and gardens.
The city is crowded as always, but if you take a few precautions for your valuables, you can have a worry-free time!
The Metro and transport systems are also gearing towards being more user-friendly to families with children. |
| | Bored? Not me! If planned well, a trip to Paris can be great fun for the whole family, and that's not counting Parc Disneyland yet.
There're already plenty of great pages on VT with usefuls tips, so I aim to give tips to families travelling with toddlers, and other how-tos on saving money and maximising your budget.
Check out my tips on Parc Disneyland! |
