Salcha is located 33 mile south of Fairbanks. The population of Salcha is 854. We pride ourself for helping our neighbors when they are in need but respect each other privacy. The area streaches from Eielson AFB to just outside Delta Junction. We have the Tanana River that flows through it. The Pipline goes through Salcha to Valdez.

Wood craft

The Knott Shop is a popular tourist spot in Salcha. They have sculpture of various things made out of trees.

The State bird LOL

There is so many misquitoe's in Alaska that we call it our state bird. :)

Another Picture of the Alaska Range

It was raining one day and there was clear sky's over Alaska Range. I thought it look like a beautiful picture at 5 AM that I decided to take it. It had just rained that night.
