Leipzig's an interesting city. Another city from the former East Germany, Leipzig is reinventing itself as a happeining place. The resting place of Johann Sebastian Bach and home to many churches, Leipzig offers clubs, pubs, museums and the Volkerschlachtdenkmal - a massive monument to the 1813 Battle of Nations fought against Napolean. 500 steps leads to a fantastic view over Leipzig. There's also a museum inside. |
