Munich is the capital of Bavaria and probably Germany's beer capital, noted for its beer houses and its Oktoberfest. This seems to be the main attraction of Munich, everyone knows what Hofbrauhaus is and what Hofbrau tastes like, with a side order of giant pretzels. Then there's probably the best beer in Germany, Lowenbrau, another Munich brew.
Besides the beer Munich also has the museums, the architecture located around Karlsplatz and Marienplatz, the sporting facilities of the Olympic Park and the relaxation of the massive English gardens. |
