Cesky Krumlov

No secret!

From the tower
Cesky Krumlov, enclosed by the Vltava River, is typically czech, picturesque and untouched. No longer a secret, this town is a popular destination with backpackers and Austrian day trippers crossing the border for a wander.

During the day the town gets very busy with tourists, seemingly wandering aimlessly up and down through the town, but come 6pm the tourists leave and allow the locals and backpackers sole rights to the bars.

Great tip on kayaking the river - I missed out on that when I was here because it was too cold in October, but it sounds like a great time!
