We drove from Beirut up to the mountains one day during my holiday.
It only takes a hour from Beirut, before you are surrounded by high mountain gorges, small mountain villages and fruit trees.
We stopped off at a couple of places for some hellos and had a late lunch at Chez Michel along with everyone else. Then headed back to the bustling city under the glow of the setting sun.
