Al Hazm township is 160km north-west of Muscat, and 20km from Rustaq on the road to the coast.
Hazm Fort is the largest building there, which is a beautiful example of Omani Islamic architecture and was built in 1711AD by Imam Sultan bin Seif (the 2nd.)

Better to have your dates picked fresh than dropped in molten fashiohn atop your head;-]
Got a chuckle out of this one! Also interesting to see the changes at Al-Hazm..probably.been 10 or 11 years. Typically, the pace of development is staggering... nothing there but a tiny village then. Was hard to find because there was no sign at all!
