I started writing my tips for Metsovo, and I realised that all of them were somehow connected to food! lol! Maybe because I have only visited it on my way to or from Ioannina, as a place where we stop for lunch! There is a lot of history here... when i find the time to look it up, i will put some of it here :-) It is, however a beautiful place, maybe a bit too much tourist - orientated, but that's always a side loss of development for regional, picturesque places like this, right? If you travel on the Katara road, it's definately the place where you should stop and breathe some fresh air and enjoy the landscape. Don't miss the town's church, which is at the central square.. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of it... yet!

I like your yummy page about Metsovo! I hope you will add more on this place that is undervisited by foreigners, too bad!
