A nice little getaway in the mountains

It may sound redundant, but all my getaways in the mountains are great. I love the mountains….
Anyways. When we bought our house in Calgary, our realtor, rented a weekend condo for us. We chose the one in Fairmont. We thought we would check it out during the month of March. My parents held their Anniversary party there in May, so this gave us a chance to check it out.

On the road to Fairmont

The drive from Calgary to Fairmont took a couple (around 4) hours. The road goes through various valleys and ridges. On the way we seen numerous dear and sheep

Emerald Lake

This was a pit stop on the way to Fairmont. The water was a brilliant green color...hence the name...a good place to stretch the legs.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Great place if you like to golf or relax.
Cons:nothing major
In a nutshell:Been there, done that, maybe do it again
