We wanted a place to take the kids on a small trip. We had limited time to plan. I could not find a flight to Cancun or Cuba , so we decided, why not the Grand Canyon ???
I figure that enev though it was cold out, the kids would take something back with them in the form of amazing memories.
We drove from Phoenix to Sedona - Flagstaff - Grand Canyon and back. We left a very cold home with lots of snow and hoped for warm weather.........We hit a snowstorm in Flagstaff........

We spent only one night here. We were tired from all the travelling (through the snow) so we needed a place to relax.... more travel advice
