GREETINGS

Calgary and the Mountains

Emerald Lake
Being here for about 3 years now. Love the mountains. We try to go there hiking a couple times a month. I can not imagine waking up in the morning and getting tired of the view........

Can't imagine why I didn't move here sooner.

As you can tell, I love to hike. I plan on hiking at least once a week (in reality every other week).
Hikes I plan on this year:
Paradise Valley and Giants Steps Falls (in two days from now)
Harvey Pass - Mount Borgeau
Cory Pass - Gargoyle Valley - Edith Pass
Iceline Trail
Devil's Thumb (again)

Lake Louise from Devil's Thumb

This is one of the many hikes I have been on since moving to Calgary. It is great to have this area so close to home.....

Nihahi Ridge...just before the storm hit.

Nice little hike that is located 45 minutes away. When we went here, the hike started in 25 degree celsius weather and finished in 15 degree lightning - rain - storm.......
Some where in Jasper
Sunflower field

This was one of the views I see everyday going to work. BUt since we moved to Calgary.....

"The best behaved dog ever"

Nikida is a great dog. I don't like dogs or cats but my wife and daughter insisted...
We lucked out....This dog does not know how to bite...She very seldom ever barks. All she wants to do is play. She is the friendliest dog ever. We never have to put her on a leash and is well behaved. If forgotten outside, she will sit by the door and wait.

Nikida is 7 yrs old.
