If you ever set your fot in Malawi, wich you most definitelly should, you will encounter som of the most friendly people on this earth. Always close to a smile and with greeting gestures that would make the rappers of N.Y. envious. A small country, easy to get around, both by road or by taking the Ilala. A ship from the early 50's going up/down weekly. TAKE IT at some part of your journey, it's fantastic wether it's raining or sunny. Go to some of the National Parks, spot a zebra. Take a diving certificate in the giant aqarium the lake really is. Cheap as hell. Spoil your self rotten and rent a honeymoon island at Kaya Mawa for you and your loved one. Get a shirt sown and sponsor the locals, drink malawi gin with some stoney ginger. If you go you will be back.... |
