New Beginnings In the spring of 1998 I visited San Francisco for the first time. I immediately fell in love with the city, the area, the myriad of cultures. After returning home, I started planning my move. Loading up a small Ford Ranger XL and a small trailer I started a drive towards California not exactly knowing what I was getting into. I had no job, no place to live, $3,000 and no final destination.
Five years later, I'm glad to call the SF Bay Area my home. There is everything one could want here. I'm near the ocean, near the mountains. I can kayak on the ocean one day and snow ski in Tahoe the next. Wine country is practically in my backyard and some of the best wine is only a couple of hours away. And at the heart of it all is a city that offers diversity, character, inspiration and activity. What more could I ask for? |
