SIGHTSEEING TOUR BY THE TOURIST SHIP "BEOGRAD" Danube & Sava river Review


From April to November, the Tourist Organization of Belgrade (TOB) organizes sightseeing tours of Belgrade by ship along the Save and the Danube. The Program "Tour along the Save and the Danube" is a regularly scheduled sightseeing tour, which includes the presence of a trained guide.
Route: "Jugoslavija" Hotel, Lido Beach in Zemun, Veliko Ratno Island, "May 25th" Sports Center, Belgrade Fortress, Orthodox Cathedral, bridges on the Save, Cukarica Channel, Ada Ciganlija Island, New Belgrade developments, Contemporary Art Museum, Hotel "Jugoslavija".

Departure from the pier in front of Hotel "Jugoslavija".
Ship capacity: 60 commercial places (31 places in the hull, and 29 on the deck).
Regular program, 90 min, with TOB guide.
Departures:
- Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 18:00
- Saturdays and Sundays at 16:00 and 18:00
- Mondays - free day

In Knez Mihailova (Duke Mihailo’s) Street, where Cika Ljubina (Uncle Ljuba’s) Street branches off, there is a luxurious building in which is located Srpska Akademija Nauka i Umetnosti (The Serbian Academy of Science and Art). The building was erected in the period between two wars (in 1924) and it contains:
The Library of the Academy, one of the richest in Belgrade;
The Archive of the Academy with numerous materials about the history of Serbia;
The Gallery of the Academy on the ground floor, with a special lecture hall, the bookstore and the antique shop.
