| | Trading center of Republic of Srpska
Gratitude to its geogrphic position, Bijeljina became the main trading center of Republic of Srpska. It is 6 km far from the border of Serbia, 40 km of Croatia and 35k of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. You can not count how many shops and companies are in Bijeljina. Of course, the main shops are in he center. You can not count that. Almost every house on the main streets has a shop in. There are craft shops, too. Exit to the west (to Brcko and Banja Luka) and to the north (to Belgrade) are fool of groceries. On he north-east exit, there are several factories (iron - "Panaflex", clothes - "Kurjak", subcontractor of "Daniel Hector" and "Versacie", metallurgy - "Elvaco", food - "Sava", aluminum windows and doors - "Su-Ma Plast", furniture - "Stolar"). Also, in Bijeljina Municipality exist shoes factory - "Dimex-Luana" (owner is my uncle), meat factories - "Leder" and "ZP" (Vrsani Village), factory of artificial cattle food - "Kiko" (Crnjelovo Village), wood gallantry - "Janja" (Janja Village), factories of lime, wood? The city is fool of coffee bars. People talk that there is more than 150! There is, also, lot of confectioner's shops. Restaurants, fast food, discotheques, bars with live music? More then 20 gas stations is in the city or suburb and every village has its own. But, Bijeljina area is agriculture area. Peasants raise only the natural food. In the west, east and south, vegetables, in south-west, fruits. There is lot of farms with cattle.
And this is the city of 65,000 people.
