The London Eye is with a height of 135 meters the highest observation wheel in the world. This very modern construction with its space aged capsules offers you a stunning view at one of the greatest cities in the world. The flight takes about half an hour. Each capsule takes up to 25 persons and unbelievable but true, it doesn't feel like beeing in there with 24 other people. You can walk around, sit down and relax or looking out at the windows and enjoy a wonderful expierience. When you visit London be sure to have this great expierience.

At The County hall Gallery wich is next to the London Eye, you can visit The Dali Universe. This year Salvador Dali's 100th birthday is celebrated. Over 500 of his amazing works can be seen here. Also other exhibitions can be visited here. For more info visit their website.

If you like modern art be sure not to mis this. The place is huge, if you want to see everything you can stay here all day. The good part is also most of the exhibitions are free to visit. On the top floor of the building, in the restaurant, you have a magnificent view over London. Even if you don't like modern art this place is more than worthwhile visiting. The building used to be a power station and was transformed into a museum. The building itself is a real piece of art.

This bridge was built to celebrate the Millennium. This steel bridge is 325 meters long. It was the first pedestrian bridge that was built in a hundred years over the river Thames. It is connecting St. Paul's Cathedral with the Tate Modern Gallery.

This cathedral was built between built between 1675 and 1710. It was designed by Sir Christopher Wren. The first cathedral was built here in 640. This one is the fourth cathedral that was built on this spot. St Paul’s Cathedral is the cathedral of the Diocese of London. This year (2004) the Diocese celebrates its 1400th anniversary.

This monument from Heliopolis dates from 1500BC and is older than the city of London. The inscriptions are what the pharao's realized in Egypt. Its on this place since 1878. In New York a similar monument is behind the Metopolitan Museum of Art.

Princess Alexandra has opened the new Hungerford Bridge footbridges on July 2nd 2003. The bridge got its name because it was finished in the year when the queen celebrated her golden jubilee.

Big Ben is not the name of the tower our the clock,but the name of the 14 ton heavy bell.It is named after Sir Benjamin Hall.The bell was placed in 1858.
