The real Tulsa isn't downtown

Most people thnk that Tulsa, Oklahoma is mainly downtown. While this is true downtown is mainly where most people work. By far the majority of restraunts and activities lie within the east tulsa area around 71st street. Also there are many things around the Brookside or Peoria area. Also Tulsa is over an hour away from Joplin whereas most think they are realitivly close.
