Renoir ~ "Le déjeuner des Canotiers" - Chatou

Bonjour!

Welcome to Chatou, a small sleepy town 20 minutes west outside of Paris on the RER from the Charles de Gaulle Etoile stop!

Located here is the Maison Fournaise where Renoir painted his famous "Luncheon of the Boating Party" on the Ile des Impressionists or Isle of the Impressionists.

Ah, what a delicious afternoon lingering over a wonderful meal. Did you have the rhubarbe for desert? One of my father's favorites (French father..Polish mother)

Ah... so that is why it's called a work adress...? ;) Not my fault, I can read my e-mails sent to my work adress from home... :) And, which other e-mail adress should I otherwise send it to...? Nice page by the way!
