Colombo - the colonial and modern time

by Jarin - last update: Feb 20, 2006

It is a quite hectic city with on one hand colonial houses and on the other hand very modern buildings.
The traffic is quite heavy, especially during the rush hours; old and new cars, trishaws (kind of tricycle taxi), mini-buses.
Buddhist and Hindu temples, churches and mosques all so near each other, side by side as in fact it should be all over the world.
