From my youth onwards I am travelling. Not always long distances, but also just abroad to the neighbour countries. I love travelling. It is so fine to see other nations, their culture, habits and food. Love to discover new surroundings. Just going to one place for several times in short period is nothing for me, like to explore new countries, with exception of cities, as there is always something new to explore, as large cities have numerous sights, museums, theatres and other interesting 'things' to see.
Through the various sites with pictures and info I can share all that wonderful I encountered on my various journeys with you.

|  | Czech Republic Visited this country many times, so I could visit not just the main tourist sights. Prague, is a wonderful city, but there are so many others places, which are less crowded, and are also very interesting. Moravia, less known part of Czech Republic is so beautiful, with its stalactite and stalagmite caves (Moravian Karst), mountains (Beskydy (Lysa hora-1323 m), Jeseniky (Praded-1491 m)) and diversity in landscape, but also hundreds of castles, chateau's and ruins. |
Sri Lanka Further I will take you to Sri Lanka, an island in the Indian Ocean. This wonderful tropical island with very kind people and so interesting culture. Cities like Colombo, Kandy, Galle still remind the colonial times. The shores with fine sand and palms, elephants in the streets, the tropical fruits, the moonstone and the blue sapphire and ……. come and see! | | |
| | Venezuela - Isla Margarita Isla Margarita was for us the first tropical place we have visited. Normally we are planning our holidays at least 2-3 months ahead, but to Margarita we have decided it in 3 weeks before our departure. It was by chance that we heard about this island. It should be there wonderful, not so crowded with tourist and cheap. So we decided to try and booked the vacation and really we did not regret for a single moment. Fantastic! |
France France is a wonderful country, which I visited many times. It is not just for the fascinating landscape, their rich culture or their delicious food, but it is just the atmosphere. Being there gives you such a relaxed feeling, which I can not describe. Although Paris is the city where I was at least 50 times, I start with most wonderful small village, abt. 75 km from Paris, Giverny - the village of Claude Monet. | | |
| | Amsterdam - My home city Although I am not born in Amsterdam, I live here for more than 30 years and it is a great city. Besides the canals, bridges, cheese, fresh herring, Heineken, AJAX it is a place of famous museums, flower markets, cozy pubs (incl. the "famous" coffee shops), picturesque architecture and many other interesting 'things'. |
Other countries and places Preparing also site for Poland ( Cieszyn), Tunisia (Sousse, Sidi Bou Said, Kairouan), Italy (Rome, Pompeii, San Remo) and other places in Czech Republic, like Brno, Ostrava and some new castles. Plenty to explore. |
