Trust me....its high
We had no idea just how this was going to be...we knew the priciples and that was about it. Our first attempt was called off due to a storm. This passed and an hour later it was safe to try again. We began climbing the mountain in a mini bus out of a comedy film. We climbed....we climbed and we climbed...at this point all of us had gone quiet wondering just how high we was going...we climbed...we climbed...we climbed...this point we was all wanting the toilet. The instructor said we was 6 500-7 000 feet high. The village below was toy town. Adrenalin kicks in a the fear of looking soft and we made our jumps....I was first and unfortunately crashed after 15 seconds in the air....batterd and bruised but not put off second attempt was made succesfully.....you got to try this the feeling is out of this world you loose the sensation of height because below just doesnt look real.
Equipment: All over clothing ie jumpers, trousers etc etc in case you crash and slide down the mountain for 100 feet. Cameras was ok to take and worth it for the photos but word of warning I damaged mine when I crashed hence not so many pictures. The photo you see is of the only photo and video clip I managed to make before my camera decided not to work. The photo is actually whilst we are in the air around 100 feet off the houses below and 6 000 feet above the village below where we was due too land. Risks involved but definately worth it and I do recomend trying this. Price was pretty good too. You are in the air for approximately 20-25 mins and if you ask the instructor nicely he can put you in a spin on the way down and blow your mind with the stunts he can do with the parachute.

Ship ahoy !!!
We had a day off whilst in France and had a choice of activities...we chose white water rafting and paragliding.
The price for rafting was very reasonable I dont remember how much but I know it wasnt expensive. The instructors was very friendly and proffesional. The raft lasted for around 22 miles and had some pretty good bits where you was hanging on till your knuckles went white.
Equipment: Wet suits are provided but trainers are are a neccesity...old ones are best so you can just put in the bin when finished.
Address: will come later when I find out
