From Detroit, MI, a small fee and a short tunnel took us to Windsor. Visited friends in Toronto and drove to Quebec along Lake Ontario. Of course we had to stop and see Niagara Falls. The falls are still there, unchanged since I had visited some 15 years earlier, but the surrounding Canadian city did change a lot instead. A new, giant Casino building attracts customers by the thousands. Nesting your vehicle in the Casino parking will save you a few bucks. Of course we learned this only after leaving our car in the costly parking lot in front of the falls. Lots of people but the Falls absolutely deserve to be seen. Wind-driven mist wil get you soaked. Bring rain gear or buy a disposable coat on-site.
