Traveling is a state of mind. One doesn't have to go half around the globe to be a traveler. Peeking behind the corner can be a rewarding experience and a good start.
Travelers are those eager to discover, learn and understand the "outer" world. Many accomplish respect for differences, some would never have such pleasure.

When the sun sets over our wings, it's time to remember another day and dream about next wing to spread....

Antonello, I thought you'd be interested to know that the Montblanc dessert is on the Christmas menu at an upscale Napa Valley (California) restaurant.

The beach ride sounds awesome. I tried one on the south east coast of Costa Rica one time from Puerto Viejas to Limon. It was a nightmare. The jungle came to within about 100 feet of POUNDING surf, and finding/keeping on the 'dry line' was almost impossible. Had to ford a brown river that was about 50 yards wide, holding our bikes and backpacks above, and watching an Indian dude make alligator signs with his hands.
