This is a must see for anyone. Most people have read (or at least heard of) Anne Frank's Diary, but to have the ability to actually walk through this house including climbing the staircase behind the bookshelf is an unbelievable experience.

Walking around the city you are in awe of the different house. Most houses have a pully out front in order to raise furniture up and down, this is because the houses are so narrow.

Just walking around the city you will see the different canals and bridges, while they are great to admire during the day, some are even better to view at night. Don't walk around the city just looking up, make sure you look down and admire all the city has to offer.

This is an absolute must, even if your not a big art buff. The museum has a nice collection of Van Gogh's work as well as his inspirations and those he inspired. There is nothing seperating you from his work except a red velvet rope, which was nice, it allowed you to really examine this master's work.

Big museum dedicated to Heineken. You get 3 beers and a glass for your visit. While no beer is actually brewed there it was a very interesting exploring the evolution of the company. Includes a multi-media look at their ads over the years and a virutal ride on a a horse pulled carriage.

Dam Square is filled with street venders and street artists. It is also the home of the royal palace that you can actually take a tour of. The palace is open only when its not being used for official business, so its always a good idea to check ahead of time.
