Lima is the main entry/exit point into Peru. Lima was described to me as Miami with New England weather. VERY TRUE. Lima has all the bright colored buildings that Miami has but it is constantly over cast. My first day in Peru was spent wondering around Lima just exploring, what an amazing city, a mix of metropolitan, tropical, and beach.
I will put the disclaimer in that I did stay in Milafores which is a tourist/richy area of Lima. Lima is know for high poverty and crime. |
