mmm... sea air and "notski" (camp fire), fishes you just caught by your self (after a few hours by just standing still). These moments are one of the best in Finnish summer. I just love summer. I think the contrast between winter and summer makes them both feel so much better. And it have to take a long hard winter to have a real respect for summer ;-D

Sometimes I get depressed by winter, if it last too long...
and then, on one day, when I can feel the summer coming, when I can smell it from the air (it really can be smelt), the feeling is just astonishing. It is just a little moment, but it is a great feeling :-D

What do I like...?

Tampere

YEah, and the fresh air... We have more than enough of that in Finland. And I like it, like it a lot...
I've always been a-small-town-girl. Ofcourse, untill I moved to Tampere. Although, some might not consider that a really big city...

Anyway, I have gown up more or less in the middle of the nature. I think it is the reason why I love it so much. It is amazing how it can astound me every time I'm woundering around it. ...

Finding new places and paths..

I like to do my (smaller!) trips without any plans. It is cool for example to walk in some new forest where are many different kind of paths. Then you just pick one and follow it (ofcourse, it is good to have a map for your safety ;). It is great to have surprises on the way. And if you have a tent and some food with you... It is easy just look a good place to stay for a night.

It's hard not to keep moving

I became a traveller after me and my family took a trip to Israel. Before that I had only been in Scandinavia.
Anyway, the trip to totally different kind of country changed my life and after it have been quite hard to stay still. And I hope I could have more money to do travelling...
