Denver- The Mile High City I'm back in Denver, and after all this time away I have a new found appreciation for the mile-high city. I realized that I had taken Denver and the Rocky Mountains for granted, and when I returned and saw the Rockies towering behind the metro area, I knew I was home again. I may stay for awhile and see what I can re-discover as a second time resident in the beautiful state of Colorado. |
The Chapter Ends On September 10th, 2005, my time in Germany was over. I stayed for a few weeks in Roquepine, France and then I took a tour of Paris with my brother. On October 4th, 2005 I returned to the United States, where I will stay for the next couple of years. I enjoyed living in Europe and wouldn't trade that time for anything, but I definitely glad to be back in America. |

Germany I moved to Germany in February of 2003. I woke up one day and decided it would be a good idea to go live in Europe for awhile! I left the comforts of my hometown Denver, Colorado, USA and made my trek across the US to reach New York City. With a one way ticket to Germany in hand, I boarded a plane all by myself to move to a country I had never visited, didn't know the language of, and knew nobody living in. It was the most frightened I have ever been in my entire life, but also the most excited time. It was the start of something new. During my time in Europe I had adventures that were a once in a lifetime opportunity. I got to see the sights that were well hidden from tourists, and I really got to have an experience that was out of this world. I'll share everything I learned to help fellow travelers and adventure seekers have a great time whilst exploring the sights and scenes Europe has to offer. Welcome to my page! |
France I am fortunate enough to be able to visit France as much as I would like. Andreas is the owner of a 17th century villa in the southern region of Gers. Gers is renowned for their armagnac, foie gras, and sunflowers. It's been said that "God lives in the South of France", and once you have been there, you can see why. Once you are away from the tourists and really among the people, the true beauty and inspiration that makes France so special comes alive. The foods are amazing, the wines like no others, and the towns are exactly what people envision. It's the country in it's purest, unaltered form. France is an amazing country, and I truly love it. |
Joyeux Noël! On December 21st I am flying back to France for the Holidays! I will be there for three weeks! I am very excited, as I get to eat all the coq au vin, confit, and drink all of the Floc that I want! Hizzah! |
