A great restaurant in a garden setting. the menu is on the table which you fill in with a pencil provided then take it up to the counter pay for it and the waitress then serves your meal. It is fully licensed. Lovley environment with a water fall in the corner and twinkly lights in the trees. Neat casual, excellent value for money and the staff are so friendly on our second visit every staff member said goodbye to us. Very good value. No need to book but does get busy after about 7pm. Visited again in Nov/Dec 07 but has changed it's name to Tim's Surf n Turf. Still great value for lunch or dinner I had the Lasagne and was size of a house brick with salad and chips. A varied menu covers just about all tastes.
Favorite Dish: I never had any but the steaks look massive!!!! and from the number of people who were ordering I would say they must be good. Myself I love pasta and had several types. The breads are a nice change from the standard garlic bread.

Restaurant Name: Steak & Seafood
Jetty's is a buffet style which cost $AU22 pp inclusive of some seafood such as mussels and prawns if you prefer something more exotic they sell mud crabs at $AU15 each the same for Oysters for a dozen. We sat outside on the jetty on a beaufiful balmy evening. It is fully licensed for alcohol and is quite reasonable. On average we were paying approx $AU30 for a bottle of wine of course this is the bottom of the range. Recently revisited this reatauant to find the price had gone up and the standard of food has gone down. Still a fantastic location but packed in like sardines.
Favorite Dish: We found plenty to enjoy on the buffet and the chefs are cooking the steaks to your requirment. There are plenty of desserts along with fresh bread.

Great Indian restaurant located inside the Central Hotel. Lovely surrounds they even have private rooms for large parties. Quite strict on their dress code no thongs I saw them looking at my glitzy variation of the thongs. Neat casual.
Favorite Dish: Hard to say lots of good choices we had Butter Ckicken & Rogan Josh with garlic naan all were superb

Restaurant Name: Buffet breakfast
The casino restaurant has a great breakfast buffet for $12.95 there is a huge selection and it is replenished frequently. They also have a lunch time buffet which is the same cost with dinner costing $20.95 whichever you choose you wont be disappointed they are all great value. You must book as they get very busy we just turned up for Sunday breakfast only to be told they were fully booked. No pic of the restaurant as we werent sure we were able to take pics being in the casino hence only outdoor.
Favorite Dish: Lots of choice and variety.

Nice spot to sit and watch the people go by can sit inside or outside. Always quite busy the kind of place you can sit and chat over a bottle of wine.
Favorite Dish: Has a nice menu with plenty to choose from another more upmarket casual kind of place. Good choice of wines & beers.

Restaurant Name: Hanuman
This is definately a special occasion restaurant. Beautiful setting with clothes waiters falling over themsleves to fill your glass. There is an indoor air conditioned area which you need to book pretty early or the inside ouside fan cooled area. The chilli prawns are a speciality here and got 10/10 from our table. The wine is a little pricey yet the food is very reasonable at least we thought so for such a lovely restaurant. Bookings are a must. I would opt for inside next time but because we left it so late to book we were wait listed!!
Favorite Dish: So many to choose from the waiters are more thanhappy to explain any dish or make a recomendation for your palate.

Directions: Visited so many all locations are blending into eachother. I think down the bottom of Mitchell near the Holiday Inn but you cant miss the size and colour of the building.

Very nice Thai restaurant situated upstairs on Mitchell St. It was incredibly hot when we were there it is fan cooled but during the wet when the humidity is high nothing can keep you cool. Casual type dining lots of big tables and talking nice atmosphere.
Favorite Dish: Good choice of menu we had a noodle dish, green curry and a vegable dish all were good.
