Category: Bus
Getting TO/AROUND: Perth and Fremantle both run the free "Cat "buses. You can get on and off at any of the stops and get back on when you are finished. This will give you a good orientation of the area. Buses in Perth City are also free providing you are only travelling within the inner city area. The bus drivers are quite happy to let you know where and when you need to pay a fare.

Category: Bicycle
Getting TO/AROUND: There are an abundance of cycle paths around Perth you can actually cycle from Fremantle to Perth without going on the road. The paths follow the Swan River which allows you to go as far as you like remember you have to get back!!!! It is possible to hire bikes on the Perth foreshore. There is plenty to see on the river birds aplenty ther are also plenty of cafes to stop and have a coffee along the way. Road rules here "Keep to the left".
