| | Originally I had planned to spend about 4 days here, but due to changes in my trip (like going to Salzburg and spending an extra day there), I really only had 2 days of sightseeing around this city (but stayed here 3 nights). Prague was an interesting and enjoyable experience for me. I was a little nervous, not just because I did not know a word of the language, but because even with a little pocket book dictionary - I had no idea how to pronounce the words! But since I was mainly sticking to the tourist areas on my 2-day stay, the majority of people I met had some knowledge of English (thankfully! :) ). |
Despite numerous warnings against pickpockets for tourists (something which my tour guides or the people at my hostel could not stress enough), I had no problems in Prague. I got the hang of using the metro fairly quickly, the currency was easy to use and I didn't get lost once!
Being in Prague was a good experience, I met a lot of nice people at my hostel, I had a couple of great tour guides, and I had two warm and sunny days in Prague, doing whatever I wanted at my own leisure.
