"~ P I S A ~" a Pisa Travel Page by Marpessa

I came to Pisa just as an afternoon trip while I was in Firenze (Florence). I think I was only in this city for about 5 hours. It is a very small city and very easy to get around on foot.

The main picture on this page is from the roof of the Duomo in Pisa. I just loved the colours used in it, it had very warm feeling to it. For the best artwork in the city - check out the Duomo, there is some great art there.

As the River Arno flows through Firenze, it flows through Pisa as well. It was really nice just walking along the river on the way to piazza dei Miracoli. There is some nice architecture along the bridges and the colourful buildings lining the river with green mountains in the background makes for a very good setting for a city.
