    • Buying water from any of the number of drink/snack stands on the streets of Rome will cost you about EUR 1,50. Or if you want something like Coca Cola or Sprite, then that will cost you even more - the prices are a bit much.

    Alternative: Instead, find yourself a supermarket, like 'Despar' where you can buy a bottle of water for as little as EUR 0,21. Shopping at a supermarket and getting your food for the day there is a much better alternative than paying the prices at the food stands.

    Very disappointing. I don't know if we just went there on a quiet night, but it wasn't very crowded in this bar, it was a little too dimly lit and I really didn't find anything special about this pub. Yes it did have large flat TV screens, but it had no atmosphere. I did read a tip on another website (Travel Yahoo - The Nag's Head) they called it 'romantic'... but I don't think so. It supposedly turns into a 'club' later on, but it would be a very small club.

    Alternative: Not that I expect a lot of people going to Rome to be seeking out Irish/Scottish themed pubs, but if you are in need, go to the one from my nightlife tip - Finnegans, it is excellent.
