"Tunoe - A lovely little island" Tunø by Herb84

Tunø Travel Guide: 5 reviews and 0 photos

Tunoe has a seldom and varied nature. The mild climate of the island makes it a good place to grow asparagus and pore. The main and only village on Tunoe with an atmosphere of its own can be dated as far back as 1100. The village has a very special church. The church tower is a combined church tower and light tower!
On Tunoe there are no cars. It is not possible to take your car with you, so if you're going by car you have to leave it on the mainland.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:No cars, beautiful nature, it is impossible to get lost on Tunoe because it is such a small island. Good for kids.
  • Cons:The island is a good place for families with children but other people might get a bit bored as there are no discos(but a few pubs) and such.
  • In a nutshell:If you are sailing the seas of Denmark, remember to visit Tunoe!
