Restaurant Name: Ses Pruneres del Jeres Kate
This restaurant is fairly typical of Cala Millor I suspect. The staff were friendly enough, but this has to be one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. We were pretty tired out after a day's sightseeing so stoppped off to check out restaurants in cala Millor on the way home to Porto Cristo. What a mistake!
After walking around aimlessly for a while, we settled on this place because we thought a) pizza is surely a safe bet anywhere and b) it had a nice enough outside terrace. It's about as pricey as any of the other restaurants in Cala Millor. Menus in English and German, but that isn't exactly unusual here!
Favorite Dish: We had 2 'Rusticas', with ham and salami. I'm not sure if there was a Germanic influence going on here, because the only place I've had such a dreadful pizza has been in Vienna. The base just tasted of such weird dough, far too flour-y. The ham was ok, but the salami tasted off. And it was obviously cheddar being used not mozzerella.
Two pizzas came to 14 euro. We got free schnapps at the end, but couldn't even drink that as I was driving! Not a good experience and a lesson learned!
