Austevoll is located on the west coast south of Bergen and north of Haugesund and can be a nice place to go for as a daytrip from both cities...but also a great place to stay for some days

Austevoll is many islands...to be exact 667 but only 12 of them have people living on them

The island are best know for its fishing and wid sheeps

once a year the have costal days here in Bekkjarvik in 2004 it was in august 2005 it was in september lots of boats... more travel advice

Exactly the sort of place I like. Might be tempted to see it on our next trip to Norway.

Kjekt at det er flere enn meg som skriver om avsides, små steder. Fikk lyst til å ta en tur til Austevoll :-)
